Google Sniper 2.0 Review

I’ll sum this make money online with clickbank program in one word: no.

There we go, review done. Not satisfied? Then I suppose I need to elaborate why you should not waste your money on this program.

I normally don’t waste my time reviewing the various make money online teaching programs out there.  There’s no point trying to call bullshit on an industry that’s mostly built from bullshit. However, the Google Sniper program is one of the more popular programs out there. And one look at the front page of Google showed (as expected), the usual run of fake reviews. So I might as well use this popular program as the whipping boy for the entire Internet-Marketing-Gurus-Hawking-Bullshit industry. Sorry George, you are NOT going to like me. But, then again, I don’t give a fuck.

I figure just for entertainment purposes, I’m going to rank my legit review warning people away from the Google Sniper program.

So, let’s break down why this program ain’t worth it. For one, the author of the program’s BS level is the size of Texas.

What the Google Sniper Program Is

Basically, it’s an ultra spammy microsite model where you pump out 3 pager websites with a fake BS personal story hawking a clickbank product.

You try to register exact domains to get the maximum SEO boost. Georgy boy also gives a few figures out there to look at in terms of competition levels to make a profitable GS website. Something like less than 2000 exacts per term. He suggests you go with low comp keywords (again, he gives a figure here) and look at keywords that have not been saturated yet.

That, in essence, is the guts of the program. If you want to exact formula, you can buy the program (googlesniper.com). But again, I say don’t waste you money.

Why the Google Sniper Program is BS

Ok, so why is the Google Sniper 2.0 program full of bullshit? My beef with the program is NOT that you can’t make money with it (some people actually do/did), but the fact that like most similar programs out there, the earning figures tossed out by the program developer are wildly overstated; you are NEVER going to make the huge amounts claimed by the sales pitch.

There is real effort required to see a sizeable return from following the Google Sniper program; so much effort in fact that it’s probably not worth the average person’s time to do so. In my opinion, you are better off spending the time just creating a handful of legit authoritative websites about a topic you have some passion for and backlinking the shit out of them for 4 – 6  months. You’ll see more long term results with that method than any Google Sniper trickery.

The author of the program loves to show his Clickbank earnings as “proof” that you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year with his “program.” What he doesn’t tell you is that those Clickbank sales figures are probably what he’s made with his affiliate program! It’s also easy to fake such stats too — something that most people don’t seem to consider.

If you watch most internet marketing sales pitches, it all comes down to the same formula:

  • announce to the world that you’ve discovered a secret “backdoor way” of making money that no one else knows about
  • expound on the fact that you’ve make small fortunes each month with that secret method
  • toss a couple pictures as “proof” of the legitimacy of your earnings
  • list in big bold words how incredibly easy it is to make money quickly without doing much work

Does this sound familiar at all? Yes, the Google Sniper program follows the same sort of marketing strategy. Why? Because it works!

Here’s some more food for thought folks (see, my product reviews are so much more than product reviews, but like lessons too!). Do you wonder why if George is making so much dough with his secrete sauce that he’s suddenly deciding to give it ALL away for a measly 47 bucks? If it’s such a sure-fire way to make a shit load of money, one would think that he would keep that method like secrete and make more and more money with it. Why spread the knowledge around the the thousands of unwashed mashes. Because, you know, when you share a secret that secret sort of loses its value. And in the internet marketing world, the more popular a strategy is (if it works in the first place), the less effective it becomes as more and more people replicate it. Just maybe, perhaps, George’s Google Sniper doesn’t make as much as you’re told it does. Just maybe he’s bullshitting a little or a lot.

See, I’m trying to teach you folks something, seeing as that MOST of you who find my blog fall prey to these kind of programs over and over. Don’t be insane — learn from your mistakes!

The average Joe will read the Google Sniper sales pitch and get the idea in their head that they only have to create a handful of (easy) websites and sit back and watch the dough come rolling in.

Sorry folks, that ain’t going to happen. And there are four main reasons why.

Reason One: The Claimed Earnings are Wildly Inflated

The figures that George (the so called guru) advocates from his program are highly inflated. You shouldn’t be suprised by this, seeing how the kid is a great marketer and ALL so called gurus are experts at bullshitting figures. I believe the Google Sniper program advocates on the sales page that scammy 3 pages websites could make something between 400-1000 dollars a month in clickbank sales.

Now I personally know several people who put a good deal of effort into the original Google Sniper program — more effort than most of you would ever put into a similar program. Like a lot of real fucking effort. These persons did not just create a handful of google sniper websites, but hundreds of micro websites based on the Google Sniper strategy.

And said persons also built links to each Google Sniper site — something that the Google Sniper (GS) fails to mention you need to do. I believe after 200 or so GS-style blogs, that person was making just about 40-60 bucks a day after 4-5 months of building these sites. That’s roughly 2-5 clickbank sales a day with 200 blogs. Now, you might say this is a good wage — and for some, an extra 40-50 bucks a day might be a tidy sum indeed from website earnings. But frankly, that’s pretty shitty wage earned from 200 blogs. Said person would have been better off putting adsense on all 200 sites — I’m positive more money would be made (positive because I’ve tested it!).

I’m not going to argue that putting up a 3 pager site with a fake health story about how sad your life is and how Clickbank X product changed your life and can change your life too won’t result in a few occasional sales. There is always some sucker out there that will buy something if they are in desperate straights.

But the part of the package where you are told to toss up a handful of mini sites and rake in thousands of bones a month from those sites is pure marketing bullshit. And certainly tossing up a handful of such sites WITHOUT DEDICATED BACKLINKING seals the bullshittry of such claims.

…which brings us to reason number 2

Reason Two: Google Sniper Claims You Don’t Need Backlinks

George, the guy (or kid or whatever) behind the Google Sniper program, claims that with his super secret Google Sniper program, you don’t need backlinks to rank your site. That with the power of exact domains and the super secret keyword research strategy, you can outrank any site with your Google Sniper site.

Well folks, I hope I don’t need to tell you this is FLAT OUT WRONG.

You can rank for low competitive terms without backlinks, especially if your onpage SEO is good, you have relevant titles, and you have an exact domain (and Exact Match Domains are rare these days folks). However, most keywords that you can rank for WITHOUT any backlinks are terms you probably don’t want to rank for anyways because THERE IS NO MONEY THERE.

The fact is that you can put up 30 Google Sniper sites, don’t do any backlinks, and you’ll be lucky to make a couple occasional sales a month, if that. Now maybe if you are wiling to put up 300 or so websites, you might make some decent coin, but that’s not necessarly a strategy you want to pursue: having 300 spammy, no value websites, 3 page websites on the web is not a long lasting strategy. It’s only a matter of time before google will kick your sites out of the index.

Of course, from a marketing perspective folks, it’s suicide to tell people you need to slave away for hours and hours building boring backlinks to your sites to make money. So naturally, the Google Sniper program WILL say you can make money without the need to backlink (the secrete strategy and all). People want the buy the get rich quick dream. That’s fine and all, just make sure YOU don’t fall prey to it. A dream, no matter how good it sounds, is still a dream.

Backlinks are (still) King folks. Beware of any program that tells you that you can make easy money creating websites without them.

Reason Three: Google Sniper’s Keyword Research Strategy Doesn’t Leave You Many Keyword Options

George provides a few keyword research figures to follow. These are the main ingredients to his secret sniper recipe. I’ll give three of those away:

  • Look at Exacts Keyword Searches under 2000 (or somewhere along there — I’m pulling this from my flawed memory)
  • Find Niches That Have Not Been Overly Saturated by Other Marketers
  • Try and get Exact Keyword Domains, or if not, add Exact Match Domain + other stuff

Now, seeing how a flood of marketers bought into the Google Sniper 1.0 program and started snapping up exact match domains that met the above criteria, followed by a surge of even more lazy marketers following the infamous Xfactor course (by another guru I’m going to rip apart in a future review) doing just the same thing, you, as the new marketer shopping for the perfect keyword, won’t have much to choose from.

You’re going to spend a LOT of  time trying to find that perfect niche that hasn’t been picked clean 20 times over by other marketers. Oh, you might find some keywords — it’s not possible, but it’s not going to be easy, especially if you are a newbie marketer — the kind of person who usually ends up buying this sort of program.

The chances of finding a domain that matches the above three criteria above is going to be pretty damn slim. Not impossible, mind you, but certainly rare.

Reason Four: Google Sniper’s So Called Secret Strategy Has You Targeting Low Exact Terms

I’m a fan myself of going after lower competition, IF THERE IS MONEY there. But it’s a tricky business to get it just right. And the average newbie marketer won’t get it right.

However, while targeting low exact search keywords may mean it’s easier to rank for that term, it also means there’s a lot less traffic. And with something like Clickbank, you often need a lot of traffic to see a steady stream of conversions.

The problem is that the keywords you target using George’s Google Sniper program are so low in exact searches (around 2000 exacts per month), that even should you reach the top of the SERPS, you are only going to be getting 50-80 people a day at most for the term. In reality, you’ll like see maybe 15-30 people a day.

Clickbank products also tend to have a low conversion rate. Unless you are like an amazing writer who can convince an eskimo to buy snow, you are not going to convince the average person to buy your Clickbank health product. Your conversions are going to be dreadful. You’ll be lucky to see ONE or TWO maybe THREE sales a month with a GS that see’s 100 people a day. Given that you might make 20-30 bucks from the average CB sale, that’s between 20-100 bucks you’ll see at most from a GS clickbank site. And that may be your best site — not all of them will preform as well!

Yes, there may be that invariable gem of a niche that has super conversions, but as I’ve said, 99 percent of you will never find such a niche.

Which brings us back to some of the claims made by the program: you can make a lot of money with very little work.

To make money with websites, you need traffic. The more traffic you have, the more money you make. Simple. Now you can play around with the conversion rate, of which the traffic  type, the niche type, the content quality, all play a key role. But the fundemental law of internet marketing still applies: you can only squeeze out so much money from so much traffic. And when your traffic per site is just trickle traffic, you are not going to make huge amounts of money.

I note that one the Google Sniper product website, the sales pitch states one website made 460 dollars after the first month. Let me tell you that there very little chance, following the exact parameters of the Google Sniper program, this is possible.

First, if you follow the Google Sniper strategy and go after low exacts, it’s going to be hard to reach that sales total. Reaching 500 bucks a month from a single website via clickbank might require 20 or so sales. Impossible? No. Hard to do on 100 people a day with a 3 page spammy site? Yes!

Second, there is no way you are going to even GET enough traffic in the first month to even have a chance at making that sales total. Folks, it takes 2-3 months just to get a steady trickle of organic traffic. With backlink work, it might take you 3 months to get 100 people a day, in fact. So no backlinks, 3 pages of content, and a low exact search term that likely has at most 30 people a day to the term? And all in ONE MONTH? No way.

Really, the only way you are going to make 460 dollars in the FIRST month of a website (let alone with clickbank, a notoriously hard program to make money with) without God’s own blessing and outside of doing blackhat SEO is if you buy an aged domain with a bunch of links already pointing to the site WITH the rankings already in place. THIS strategy is not part of the Google Sniper program (and frankly, you’ll be lucky to find such a website available  in the first place and for cheap). Which means BULLSHIT.

The fact is, 99% of you can’t create a brand new website and get enough natural organic traffic within the first month to make 460 bucks from clickbank. Possible? Yes, in the way that you might become a millionaire in 3 years. There’s always a chance, but it’s not a likely one.

Conclusion

To make money with the Google Sniper, you will NEED to have a shitload of these spam sites. You will have to backlink them as well, no matter what George says about not backlinking. I’m not talking hypothetical here: I know guys who’ve tried it and that’s what it took to make money (as of now, they’ve lost about 50-70% of the earnings over the past year with the various Google updates that have targeted low quality sites).

Really, if you create 60 – 100 websites with 3-5 pages using Exact Match Domains, targeting the right keywords and get a few backlinks to each, using an ugly ass theme, you would likely make more money with Adsense than you would using Clickbank and the Google Sniper program. But wait, people already did that with the Xfactor program and GOT their websites DEINDEXED or their rankings shat on.

Which means, don’t waste your time pumping out little shitty sites on the web.

So…Should you spend 47 bucks to buy the program? Naw, it’s a waste of your time. You can save 47 bucks and simply do this:

  1. Do Proper Keyword Research
  2. Build HIGH Quality Sites that Offer Real Value to the Searcher with plenty of content
  3. Get as Many Backlinks as possible (with a focus on legit, quality ones from real websites)
  4. Repeat Steps 1-3.

This ‘super secret’ formula will have you making money. It will just take a year or more, NOT a month.

Now I know the devil is in the details. If you want to bug me about an actual legit Make Money Online training program, the only real one I’ve found that I can actually recommend would be The Keyword Academy. I believe it’s 33 bucks a month (free 30 day trial), but you get access to a full suite of videos that walk you through the keyword research programs, a bunch of backlinking and keyword research tools, and forums with other members. I don’t agree with everything taught there by any means (I’m not a member) so take some of what those guys say with a grain of salt (they are marketers afterall) but it’s a great intro on how to really make money online. Of course, most of you STILL won’t actually make any real money online (it’s sad, but so true), but The Keyword Academy its a no bullshit way to start the journey, especially if you’ve filled your head with crap like Google Sniper and other Warrior Forum scams.

Just don’t waste money on the Google Sniper Scam.

Your review is 100% spot on.

You mentioned you were skeptical of the income claims. The earnings “proof” on his sales page are a blatant lie.

He shows two clickbank accounts, one earned like 125k last year the other like 405k. He says the money from those two accounts came exclusively from his sniper sites. Blatant lie. Somebody was sharp enough to catch a screenshot as he was twisting the camera in the video and caught that the clickbank account vendor name for the 405k account was “tsiphon”, (Traffic Siphon) a separate product launch he did last year totally unrelated to his sniper sites:

Perhaps you might want to update your post about his faked Sniper earnings.

Just another lesson never to believe anything on the sales page of these products.
